Made entirely in the USA, CorrosionX Aviation is qualified under MIL-PRF-81309 Rev. G Type II (replaces MIL-PRF-81309F and MIL-C-81309E) for corrosion prevention and control on airframes — and now, general purpose use as well.
Used extensively by the U.S. military as well as NATO forces, all CorrosionX products and application equipment have been assigned National Stock Numbers (NSN) by the General Services Agency (GSA) and are available for procurement through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

The volatile organic content (VOC) of CorrosionX as of 2017 is now ZERO 0% and classified as H1 and C11 'food safe' in multiple countries. This means CorrosionX is gentle on you, your equipment and the environment and safe for application in outdoors/marine environments. In addition, CorrosionX is non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, and it’s non-flammable when not in aerosol form.

CorrosionX Aviation was applied to half the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters and half the AH-1 Cobras that were bound for a middle eastern desert deployment. Upon refurbishing the aircraft when they returned state-side, each treated helicopter with CX cost an average of USD$172,000 less to repair corrosion damage than each untreated aircraft. The total saving to the Army was in excess of $4 million. Under direction of the US Army, a well-respected private research firm conducted an extensive study on environmental protection of Military aircraft.
The conclusion of the study was a recommendation that the US Defence Forces use CorrosionX to protect all its aircraft. According to the study, first-year savings to the Army alone would be more than $69 million – on an investment in CorrosionX and Handi-Spray ™ equipment of less than $1 million.
